Atalanta’s winning run ended after game against Lazio

Atalanta’s run of 11 straight wins in the Serie A ended away to Lazio. Saturday’s game at Stadio Olimpico finished 1-1.

Lazio took the lead in the 27th minute thanks to a goal by Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, with an assist by Nicolò Rovella, ending the goalless stretch.

The equaliser came, when Marco Brescianini netted for Atalanta, with an assist by Ademola Lookman.

The result means Lazio stay in fourth place and Atalanta are on top.

The next Serie A games for Lazio are Roma (away) on 5 January, Lazio (home) on 10 January and Hellas Verona (away) on 19 January. Atalanta play Udinese (away) on 11 January, Juventus (home) on 14 January and Napoli (home) on 18 January.
