Girona Secures Victory, Keeping Real Valladolid Scoreless

A stellar showing by Girona saw them score three goals and shut out Real Valladolid in the La Liga clash at Estadi Municipal de Montilivi. The home team secured a dominant 3-0 win to claim victory.

It was David López who opened the scoring for Girona in the 31st minute of the goalless match, with an assist by Miguel Gutiérrez.

In the 39th minute Abel Ruíz increased the lead for Girona with an assist by Miguel Gutiérrez.

Girona further increased the lead as Arnaut Danjuma netted, with an assist by Arnau Martínez, in the 82nd minute.

The result leaves Girona in eighth place, while Real Valladolid are in 19th place.

Girona’s next La Liga games are against Deportivo Alavés (away) on 11 January, Girona (home) on 19 January and Rayo Vallecano (away) on 26 January. Real Valladolid play Real Betis (home) on 11 January, Espanyol (away) on 17 January and Real Madrid (home) on 26 January.
