In a Eredivisie drama, RKC Waalwijk and PEC Zwolle battled it out in a 1-1 draw, with neither side willing to back down.

RKC Waalwijk scored the first goal when Oskar Zawada  netted in the 10th minute, with an assist by Mohamed Ihattaren, making it 1-0.

PEC Zwolle equalised 1-1 just before the half-time whistle as Dylan Vente scored a penalty. The second half was goalless and the match ended 1-1.

It was RKC Waalwijk’s sixth game in a row without a win.

It leaves RKC Waalwijk in 17th place and PEC Zwolle in 13th.
