Study: João Neves tops Portuguese players in market value

Al Hilal has reportedly extended a contract offer to Fernandes, which is said to be the most lucrative offer he has received to date. This development has created new possibilities for Fernandes.

Sousa’s comments indicate that the player is possibly contemplating the offer from Al Hilal.

Football Observatory Study

In a separate development, the Football Observatory (CIES) released a study. The study identified João Neves as the Portuguese player with the highest market value globally. Neves is currently valued at 117.8 million euros in the market.

Ranked 13th overall, Neves is recognized as a key player at Paris Saint-Germain. Other players at PSG include Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, and Gonçalo Ramos.

Mendes is currently valued at 75.3 million euros in the market. Vitinha’s current market value is reported to be 75 million euros. Ramos’ market value does not rank within the top 100.

The representatives from the I Liga in this study are Samu Aghehowa from FC Porto and Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting. Aghehowa’s market value is reported to be 71.4 million euros. Gyokeres’ market value is reported to be 70.8 million euros.

The study highlights Lamine Yamal of Barcelona as the player with the highest value. Yamal’s market value is reported to be 402.3 million euros. Erling Haaland, a player for Manchester City, currently holds the second highest market value among players at 239.6 million euros. The study ranks the top 10 players based on their market values.
